  1. In Take Five, after Nash's alto solo, notice how the arranger Carlos Henríquez paid homage to Desmond's solo in the original recording by orchestrating it. Beautiful. Beginning at 54:33.

  2. i listen to a lot of lofi and i love it, but this is actually the best mix to study/chill/relax. Helped me secure all my exams and finals since 2016 POG

  3. … por donde se los quiera mirar, son un espectáculo, total. Y su música Jazz al 100 x 100 %.¡ Escúchenlos ! …

  4. After watching and listening to some of these like the Willie Nelson one and Eric Clapton one and now this one, I have to say, Ali Jackson is my favorite drum soloist of all times.  His solos have character, simplicity, development, and are just really cool.  I try to cop his feel and style, but it's a lot harder said than done.  As usual, thanks Ali.

  5. Today is the second day of the new year & I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of listening to Wynton Marsalis concert on Dave Brubeck music . He gathered around him a really fine group of musicians & did they do justice to it ! Woe , I was literally blown away by each & every one of them . Not a weak link from first note to last . The arrangements were wonderful . The rest of the years listening will have to really up there game to get anywhere near the quality of this concert . I'm one happy camper to night here in Dublin Ireland . Wynton any chance that you might give us a call . Bring this orchestra I know you would make our lives more bearable during this troublesome time over here . First class concert thanks for posting

  9. LOVE the arrangement of "In Your Own Sweet Way". Wynton and the JLCO are THE best, premiere big band in the world!! I second what a previous comment said to Wynton et. al: thanks for keeping the music of Dave Brubeck and Quartet alive in the 21st century!
